What is reiki?

Reiki is a system of natural healing involving laying on of hands. A Reiki practioner is simply a channel for universal energy which flows through them to heal themselves or to another person.
The aim is to balance the energy fields in and around the body and once the body is in balance, it has the power and knowledge to heal itself.
The healing can happen on the physical, psychological, emotional and/or spiritual levels.

There are 3 levels in reiki. In this first level, one learns:
the principles of reiki
meditations
receives a reiki attunement
On completion of this one day course, students receive a manual, a certificate and have the ability to treat themselves and their family.
Wild Thyme is an ideal setting for a day of meditation, self awareness, transformation and an opportunity to meet new like-minded friends on a similar journey.

Anyone can learn reiki.

There is no mystery involved.

We are all energy and what we learn on a reiki course is how to clear our channels so that we can allow the flow of universal energy through us to help ourselves and other people.

Why learn reiki?

Reiki is a powerful way to heal ourselves and allow the flow of life force energy within us.

When we start this healing more love and compassion flows and helps us to feel a sense of unity with others.

In the words of Lao Tzu:

'If you want to awaken all of humanity,

then awaken all of yourself,

if you want to eliminate the suffering in the world,

then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself,

Truly the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation.'

I feel privileged to be an HTSO accredited master teacher.
I have a Reiki practice and run HTSO Reiki courses
from my home in Bulgaria.

My husband, Chris, and I moved to Bulgaria in 2010 and set up Wild Thyme Eco Retreat Centre.
We grow organic food for ourselves and our guests.
It is a beautiful, serene place to begin or develop your spiritual relationship with Reiki.
Following training, students are provided with a great start to their 21 day cleanse eating organic food,
practising self treatments and with peaceful places to meditate.
